When Brumovice Elementary School wanted to enable teachers and students in their kindergarten to work together better, the school principal turned to Optoma for the solution.
The Optoma Creative Touch 3651RK 65" IFPD and the Optoma IFPD trolley, wall mount and WiFi module were selected as the most appropriate solution.
Part of the Creative Touch 3 Series, the Android-based interactive display was chosen due to its advanced touch technology, 4K UHD resolution, extensive connectivity options and value-focused design.
In total, assembling the trolley and installing the display, including a firmware update and application setup, took 3 hours and was undertaken by a team of two technicians.
The installation was carried out in the morning so that the teachers and children could see and try out the installed touchscreen in the afternoon.
To ensure everyone could reach the full touchscreen, the technicians installed the IFPD at the lowest possible point.
The Optoma IFPD stand also includes wheels making transport from place to place in the classroom quickly.
Immediately after the assembly and installation, all staff were trained in using the display. The teacher was very motivated to learn all of the display functionality.
Multi-touch functionality means that the children can work on the screen simultaneously as the teacher, who can pre-draw letters, and children can imitate the strokes of a pencil to practice the grip of the pencil and fine motor skills.
Another advantage is the screen size (65"), which allows the children to watch afternoon fairytales from anywhere in the classroom.
Michaela Cichrová, a teacher at the Brumovice elementary school and kindergarten, commented: "I am delighted that our director bought this display for our kindergarten.
"I have read many discussions and engaging reviews on the product on the internet, and I am very happy that the children and I can use and test the display on our own.
"The display is much larger than I expected, which is a great advantage because the classroom is large, and children do not just sit there in front of the display watching fairy tales but walk around the room, so they are still able to see the picture. "I'm looking forward to showing the screen to the children and working on it together, doing competitions and watching videos."
